About Us

Mt. Sterling Ohio Community Association (MSOCA) is a volunteer-based, 501c3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to the promotion and revitalization of the Village of Mt. Sterling in partnership with businesses, residents, village council, and other partners.


We envision a welcoming, walkable, and inclusive village. Engaging public art, entertainment, and recreation abound throughout our historic downtown area. All residents and visitors will be brought together by special events that encourage everyone to explore our vibrant village.

Our mission is to make the Village of Mt. Sterling a must-visit destination in central Ohio.

Our vision is to build unforgettable community pride and collaboration by creating opportunities for all sectors through values of inclusivity, excellence, and engagement.

Our Initiatives

  1. Organize, market, and effectively run special events that draw residents and visitors to village businesses and/or foster a sense of community.
  2. Foster civic pride and keep the village beautiful through beautification projects.
  3. Encourage community involvement through volunteer opportunities during events, on committees, or serving on the Board of Directors.
  4. Promote and market village businesses, shops, and restaurants as a destination to the community and visitors.
  5. Lead economic vitality initiatives to support new and existing businesses and inspire the spirit of entrepreneurship.
