fIRECRACKER ROYALTY CONTEST

1. $20 entry fee per child

2. Contestant or a family member of the contestant must live in Madison County

3. Royalty categories open to boys and girls in age/grade groups

4. All contestants under the age of 6 must be escorted by an adult. Escorts are encouraged to make contestants smile and interact with judges.

5. All contestants 6 and over must answer an on-stage question.

6. Only one contestant will be picked the winner in each category, and no alternates will be chosen.

7. Every contestant will receive a participation medal.

8. All contest royalty winners are obligated to attend the First Friday event on July 3rd at 6pm and dressed patriotic for participation in Mt. Sterling's America's 250th Celebration.

9.  Winners are encouraged to participate in the Mt. Sterling 4th of July Parade (July 4 10am) and Christmas in the Village Parade (Saturday, Dec 5, 7pm). Vehicle is the responsibility of the contestant.

2. Limited to 3 photos per child

3. Each photo submitted is $10 (example: 1 photo = $10, 2 photos = $20, 3 photos = $30

4. Photo age divisions: 0-12 months, 13-24 months, 25-35 months, 3-4 yrs, 5-8 years, 9-11 years

5. Photos are submitted electronically to msoca.gov@gmail.com or to (614) 271-2316

6. Professional and non-professional photos will be accepted.

7. Judging will take place between May 26th and May 31st - Winners announced on June 5th during the Royalty Contest.

8. One winner from each age group will be selected.
